Babylon - The Characters

Background: well after playing Sonic Riders so much and wanting to explore my artistic skills, I decided to draft up a comic I've been wanting to do. Also it's fueled by a recent Sonic Personality quiz I did in where one of the results was "Storm the Albatross"....i don't even....but I casted the Babylon Rogues as me and my friends.

so this is "Babylon" a retelling of Sonic Riders although it's not completely correct and canonical. Also, it's expanded quite alot. More on that later. He's just the main cast of 9.

KNUCKLES (TEAM SONIC -POWER)
- Knuckles is the power member of Team Sonic. He is strong and very agile, having a hobby of parkour. Knuckles isn't all that bright though, usually being a bit of the laughingstock of his friends for being the dumb one. Knuckles makes quick enemies with the Babylons, especially Storm. He tends to bully everyone except Rouge who he has a secret crush on. Knuckles is also the tallest and oldest of the characters here.

TAILS (TEAM SONIC - FLY)
- Miles (better known as "Tails") is the fly member of Team Sonic. He is the smartest member of his team, being the resident bookworm and mechanic. Although young, he surpasses his friends in intelligence, and easily gets offended when someone mocks his lack of strength. Tails has a fascination with the Chaos Emeralds, especially for powering his various gadgets and planes. He is responsible for building Team Sonic's and Team Rose's Extreme Gear. Tails is also the shortest and youngest of the characters here.

SONIC (TEAM SONIC - SPEED)
- Sonic is the speed member and leader of Team Sonic. He is the fastest of his friends and in his town is known as the "fastest thing alive". Sonic has a good heart and looks out for his friends but also keeps an eye out for the evil Dr. Eggman who rears his ugly head from time to time. If he detects any of Eggman's whereabouts, he's adamant to stop it. He is the object of affection for Amy Rose, who he dislikes completely but tries to be as nice as possible.

STORM (TEAM BABYLON - POWER) [based off of me :3]
- Storm is the power member of Team Babylon. Unlike other power members (Knuckles and Amy) who are a bit unintelligent, Storm has a fairly high intellect though no one seems to recognize it, except Wave. Storm is very strong but can be very clumsy. He holds his Babylon heritage close to him and takes offense easily to those that ridicule the Babylon. Like Wave, Storm is very friendly, although he is annoyed with Knuckles' constant bullying.

JET (TEAM BABYLON - SPEED) [based off of The Immortal Carter Thomas :3]
- Jet is the speed member and leader of Team Babylon. He along with Storm and Wave are one of the last few descendants of the ancient Babylon race and have been working hard to find the lost civilization from where they come from. Jet is fast and agile and humorous, though his temper is what gets to him. Jet can make often rash decisions and burn bridges with people quickly, causing hinderances later. He holds a strong grudge against Sonic, refusing to even smile at him. Jet descends from a long line of leaders and he doesn't let others forget that.

WAVE (TEAM BABYLON - FLY) [based off of my friend Charlotte]
- Wave is the fly member of Team Babylon. Unlike Amy and Rouge, she is a tomboy who is more like the boys than the girls. She is team Babylon's mechanic since her family descended from a long line of mechanics and architects. She is responsible for building the Extreme Gear for her team. Although friendly and sociable, she detests Amy and anyone who challenges her mechanic prowess or speed.

AMY (TEAM ROSE - POWER)
- Amy Rose is the power member and leader of Team Rose. She formed her team just so she could follow and win the heart of Sonic, who she has been obsessing over for as long as anyone can remember. Though very kind she is noted for being very dimwitted. When angry she gets quite a temper. She along with Shadow does not wear any eye protection in racing.

ROUGE (TEAM ROSE - FLY)
- Rouge is the fly member of Team Rose. Rouge has gained a reputation of being the "easy girl", and more pejoratively a slut. She will tired on anyone who gets in her way of getting what she wants, which in this case is Sonic. But given the chance she is very friendly and compassionate and quickly makes friends with the Babylon, especially Wave and Storm. She knows Knuckles has a crush on her but isn't interested at all.

SHADOW (TEAM ROSE - SPEED)
- Shadow is the speed member of Team Rose and relative of Sonic. He is a self-proclaimed "emo" and is usually very reclusive and reluctant to socialize. He despises everyone, especially Sonic, but tolerates Rouge. Shadow is the only one who uses the skates for his Extreme Gear. He along with Amy does not wear any eye protection in racing.

and Shadow is just being emo.
